Topic areas of the plan include: Land Use and Development, Agriculture and Food Systems, Housing and Neighborhoods, Economic Development, Transportation and Mobility, Public Facilities and Infrastructure, Community Services and Education, Parks and Environment, and Implementation. Plan development was guided by feedback obtained from innovative community outreach, analysis of existing conditions, and community visioning to ensure the plan is reflective of the communities it will serve. The plan was adopted in late 2022 and early 2023 by the adopting bodies and became effective on March 13, 2023.

“We are honored to be recognized for this community-wide achievement,” said Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry. “All In Allen reflects a shared vision for the future growth and development of our local communities. I am proud to say that we now have an award-winning plan to guide our collective futures.”

“We are so pleased to be granted this award,” shared the Allen County Board of Commissioners. “The All In Allen Comprehensive Plan process was a major community-wide initiative that included thousands of voices from the county and its adopting municipalities. The All In Allen Plan is a compass to help guide the future growth and development of the place we all call home.”
