Fort Wayne, Ind. – Mayor Tom Henry and the Community Development Division’s Neighborhood Planning and Activation Work Group today announced that September 14 will be the date for the City of Fort Wayne’s annual Inspire Leadership Neighborhood Conference.
The goal of the conference is to energize and equip residents with the tools they need to continue doing great work in our community. The event will be free and lunch will be provided for all registered Fort Wayne residents, but space will be limited. Pre-registration will be required. Further registration details, including location and keynote announcements, will be provided later this spring.
The conference will consist of neighborhood leadership-focused workshops, awards for neighborhoods and neighborhood leaders, and an inspiring guest keynote speaker. A call for award nominations will open this summer.
The Neighborhood Planning and Activation Work Group encourages residents to complete a short survey at https://form.jotform.com/230954175777165 to ensure important community voices are heard and that the conference's contents are valuable for the attendees. The survey is currently open until 11:59 p.m. on April 30.
The Inspire Neighborhood Leadership Conference is sponsored by the City of Fort Wayne, AARP Indiana, Premier Bank, and Old National Bank.
