The Summit City Entrepreneur and Enterprise District (SEED) is a division of Community & Economic Development with the City of Fort Wayne. SEED promotes entrepreneurial initiatives focusing on community, economic, and neighborhood development, with a focal point on the district’s approximately seven (7) square miles. SEED boundaries include the major commercial corridors within the city and are represented in all four (4) quadrants, however, the district is primarily in the southeast quadrant of Fort Wayne. Tax Incentives: SEED businesses may be eligible for a 10-year, 100 % tax abatement on the increased assessed value of Real Estate and Personal Property. The available manufacturing incentives include investments in innovation, technology, and logistics. (SEED Map).

Build Institute: 8-week instructor-led cohort; entrepreneur education, business planning, and mentoring.
