Business Planning Education – Powered by SEED

The Build Institute is an eight-week basic business education program for idea-stage and early-stage business builders. As a participant, you will complete a strengths assessment and receive connections suited to you, plus one-on-one facilitator meeting time and introductions to startup support organizations.

Groups of 12-16 participants meet weekly for three hours. The eight-week program provides a total of 24 education and community building hours for new business builders.

Education, resources, and community building are included in the $175 participant investment fee. Upon successful completion of the Build Institute eight-week program, participants will receive this money back as an investment in their business future. Your program fee includes:

      • Curriculum book and facilitation
      • Subject matter expert presentations
      • StrengthsFinder evaluation
      • Food and beverage, class-time childcare

Who is Ready for Build Institute Fort Wayne?

This business and project planning class is designed for aspiring and early entrepreneurs. 

Classes are led by trained facilitators and cover the basics of starting a business—from establishing an entity to financial literacy, market research to cash flow, loan types to cost-benefit analyses, and more. During the cohort, subject matter experts (such as lawyers, accountants, bankers, and marketing professionals) will be in classes to help with questions and specific topics.

Participants will leave the class with a completed business plan, a group of fellow entrepreneurs, an entrepreneur strengths assessment, connections to local service organizations, and the knowledge and confidence to take their ideas to the next level.
